A Conversation with Roger Walsh & John Dupuy

By Rigel Thurston

Join us next Wednesday for a conversation with Roger Walsh and John Dupuy, co-hosts of the Deep Transformation podcast.

Drawing on years of dialogue with philosophers, contemplatives, scientists, teachers, and activists, Roger and John will reflect on what they’ve learned from engaging some of the most influential minds working at the intersection of self, society, and spirit. Together we’ll explore the deeper questions that have emerged through these conversations, the challenges and opportunities of our cultural moment, and the practices that support meaningful personal and collective transformation.

This session will be conversational and interactive, with plenty of time for discussion and questions from the group.

Roger Walsh is a professor of psychiatry, philosophy, and anthropology at the University of California and the author of books such as Essential Spirituality: The Seven Central Practices and The World of Shamanism. Roger’s research and writings span several areas, including the nature of psychological health and well-being, meditation and contemplative practices, religion and spirituality, wisdom and other virtues, Integral studies, and the psychological roots of our current global crises. He is deeply immersed in contemplative practices as a student, researcher, and teacher.
