Join us next Wednesday for a conversation with philosopher and author Tim Freke.
In this talk, Tim will explore a contemporary spirituality grounded in evolution and emergence rather than traditional metaphysics. He will challenge the idea of a pre-existing “big mind” behind the universe and instead describe existence as a process of becoming unfolding through an evolving cosmos. Tim will also examine what he calls the “philosophical afterbirth” of older spiritual worldviews and consider what spirituality looks like after those assumptions are left behind.
Tim recommends these two short podcast episodes before the conversation:

- “Evolutionary spirituality without a big mind as the source”: https://youtu.be/f8Jm-GyqYb0?si=YXeLg7V2dbowM2Re
Tim Freke is a philosopher and author of 35 books, translated into more than 15 languages, including The Jesus Mysteries, which was a top-10 Sunday Times bestseller and a Daily Telegraph ‘Book of the Year’. His latest project is a groundbreaking cross between a book and a podcast called ‘Why Your Life Really Matters: The Podbook, ’ available free on YouTube and from your podcast provider.
